When did cruises return to Philadelphia?

In April 2026. Norwegian's newsroom release of 16 April 2026 said Norwegian was the first cruise line to sail from the city in 15 years. Norwegian Jewel sailed that first season, to Bermuda, Canada and New England, and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings says Norwegian Pearl arrives in November 2026 to take over.

PhilaPort and Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, Norwegian's parent company, held a ribbon-cutting for the new cruise terminal on 27 August 2026. The holding company's release that day describes a seven-year agreement with PhilaPort through 31 March 2033, and says Norwegian Gem will sail 7-day Bermuda and Atlantic coast voyages from Philadelphia in summer 2028.

The terminal guide covers where the terminal is, check-in and drop-off, and the first-time cruiser FAQ covers the rest of the planning.
